The Turks and Caicos offer a full range of accommodations options, from deluxe resorts to private villas to intimate guest houses. The majority of lodging options are based on the main island of Providenciales, but the less developed outer islands of Pine Cay, Parrot Cay, North Caicos, Middle Caicos, South Caicos, Salt Cay and Grand Turk all offer excellent choices as well.

Accommodations can be found to meet just about any budget, starting at around $100 per night to ultimate luxury in beachfront penthouse or sprawling villas. Many resorts feature fine dining restaurants, full service spas, gyms, water sports and other amenities. Most are directly on the beach, or a short walk to it.

A good number of resorts in the Turks & Caicos are condo-hotels, meaning the accommodations can be configured as studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, even larger depending on the property. Condo-hotels most often include kitchen facilities in the units and a more spacious living area than traditional hotels. They are ideal for families and small groups traveling together. Most properties operate the condo just like hotels rooms, with full maid and room services front desk and business center services and other conveniences you’d expect from a standard hotel.

It’s best to begin your search with either a budget or a special location in mind. In Turks and Caicos, location generally means whether you want to be in Providenciales – either in the Grace Bay Beach area; on the more residential south side areas of Chalk Sound, Turtle Tail or Long Bay; close to Turtle Cove Marina; or in the Northwest Point area – or one of the other islands. From there you can narrow your choices based on any number of criteria.

November through April tend to be the busier months in Turks & Caicos so availability may be more limited during those months.
